The Turbo Juice is back. After a vintage-long hiatus the juice is loose!
Finally adorned with a label that references the wine’s namesake - Arguably Rick and Morty’s best ever episode about Interdimensional Cable TV, Rixty Minutes. Get in quick, all you unmuscular Michaels, because those muscular Mannies are coming. And they’re coming hard.

Semillon from our block picked in the final week of January crushed to nally bin and fermented on skins for 14 days and then pressed into a stainless steel tank. After a brief soak in tank it was transferred to two six-year-old oak barriques for elevage over 10 months. Tasted in early December, we decided to combine 90%/10% of the barriques together into the final blend and put the rest into the Big Valley Bianco. No additions of any kind.

It features a powerful nose rich with Christmas pudding, spice and brandy, almost likea fortifiedfrontignac.Onthepalateitisremarkablyrefinedandstructuredwith an abundance of pleasing phenolics. In stark contrast to previous iterations of TJ this version is disappointingly low on volatile acidity. Aqueous and thirst slaking up-front, dry and rich out the back making a great feed-forward cycle for drinking andcontemplation. Opulent,integratedandbalancedwithapalatefullofgrapefruit and tangerine pith. It possesses a certain Gravner-esque whiskey peaty-ness and smokiness.

So clean - a real change of pace for those familiar with previous turbo juices. Perfect food wine with all the positives of a fortified with none of the premature satiation and gastro-oesophageal reflux.
