When the fellas at Perth is OK! gave us the call up to make a wine for the city we love, we set out to celebrate our state and our mates while making a wine with the sort of laid back sophistication that makes our city so damn Ok…. Like Tony Galati, in a suit. 

We were thrilled to collaborate with Perth is OK! on a wine as they have been doing a damn  fine job of reminding people of why Perth (and Western Australia at large) is just so damn ok for quite some time now. 

This is an assemblage of some fun parcels from mates of ours farming all around the state.  We really tried to capture as much of WA as we could and put it into the bottle.  

Designed to be a smashable red. Bottled with a devlish kiss of sulphites (30ppm,)  although not enough to constrain a cheeky bit of refermentation in bottle. As a consequence  the wine has a sublty carbonically spritzy edge to it that we have elected to find tasty and fun.  

Some Percentages for the tech-heads:  

- 50% Cabernet/37.5% Shiraz/9.75% Merlot/2.75% Sauvignon Blanc 

- 100% oak elevage, 100% skin contact 

- 87.5% Swan Valley/12.5% Great Southern fruit

- 87.5% farmed by Garth/12.5% farmed by Alexi  

Fun, zesty, intense, Pink Lady and white pepper. Electric acidity with graphite minerality. Puckering, effervescent and electric.  The result? a pretty damn ok wine.
